Numeracy
Our Numeracy program complements literacy and is sometimes called ‘mathematical literacy’. Both skills are needed in order to function fully in modern life. Being numerate means being able to reason with numbers and other mathematical concepts and to apply these in a range of contexts and to solve a variety of problems.
Educational Advocacy
As leaders in the STEM space, we develop research based activities designed to create solutions our society’s wicked challenges facing our communities. Our team is comprised on thought leaders in K-12 STEM, as well as experts from academy, government and industry. We lend our expertise to organizations.
R.O.S.E. Research Lab
TGF partners with the Removing Obstacles for STEM Excellence (R.O.S.E.) Lab to research current rends in STEM programming and provide solutions for organizations. The R.O.S.E. Lab is also responsible for analyzing data from our programming to ensure that we are increasing the STEM and math-efficacy of our students and their families.
Roadmap to STEM
The Roadmap to STEM is our strategic plan to increase the number of students entering into STEM fields. Roadmap to STEM is also the name of our first documentary, which captures the journey of four women in STEM fields and shares their experiences with the hopes of inspiring others to meet and conquer their own roadblocks.
