Research Experiences for Secondary Students

The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (RESS) program supports active research participation by secondary students. Modeled after the successful Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) program, 11th and 12th grade students are engaged in corporate or faculty-led projects designed for the RESS program. RESS Sites are hosted in collaboration with The Gaskins Foundation and local companies or universities. RESS Sites may be based in a single discipline or academic department or may offer interdisciplinary or multi-department research opportunities.
